CUSTOMIZED EDUCATIONAL TRIPS FOR YOUR SCHOOL
When you work with us to design your trip, you work with life-long educators who fully understand the excitement and complexity of bringing a group abroad. We ease the stress of logistics and planning so you and your students can experience the full benefits of a well-planned trip based in authentic connections with local communities.
Worldwide Student Travel
With partners in Ecuador, Peru, Tanzania, Nepal or Spain, our connections give you easy access to a robust immersive experience. We provide safe, friendly, and authentic hands-on experience with local communities around the world.
Expert leaders: Our trip leaders are skilled in global travel, wilderness adventure, and ethical education. They create magical, mobile “micro-communities” that appropriately challenge the group, while adeptly caring for the physical and emotional needs of the participants.
Locations: Gogi trips select sites of supreme natural beauty, historical and contemporary relevance, and cultural intrigue.
Authenticity: Our network of global hosts is personal and unique. Whether living in a traditional Maasai village or on an Andean social work initiative, our leaders and hosts nourish meaningful connections between participants and locals.
Customized Itineraries: Gogi isn’t a canned program - instead, it is an opportunity to create a unique experience for your group that aligns with your mission and meets curricular, personal, or group goals.
Constellation of Support: From pre-trip planning to updates from the road to post-trip reflection, our team provides superior support that inspires confidence in new and seasoned travelers.
Our Partner Schools
Gogi Abroad has experience working with many types of schools, including: Waldorf, Independent, and public schools. We also have a partnership with Oak Meadow, The Grammar School, Vermont Academy and design annual trips for homeschooling groups.
The unique benefits of designing a school trip with Gogi Abroad
Our trips are centered on experiences with traditional agriculture and building techniques, handcrafts and arts, and music.
We customize your trip to fit with your curriculum and goals.
We provide your school or organization with compassionate and exceptional Gogi leaders. Native, local educators lead the way so that teachers can learn as well.
We design interesting, experiential activities that naturally lead to empathy, expanded awareness, and confidence.
We provide extensive trip development coordination, including all aspects of trip planning and curriculum connections, pre-trip orientation materials for students and parents, packing lists, and in-class discussion questions for both home and school.
Detailed guidance on air travel choices
Once on the ground, your Gogi Leader greets, accompanies, and educates you throughout the entire trip.
Except for airfare, all expenses are included: lodging, transportation, good nutrition, and safe water.
The price range is from $300-$500 a day per student depending on the activities and theme of the trip.
Gogi Abroad will organize all of the logistics of the trip and the teacher or administrator from your school can participate and witness their students excited to learn more about the world, themselves, and their place in the world. Our Gogi guides have a role of being nourishing and we support students, teachers, and families preparing for the trip.
