In Munduk Pakel Village, students will engage in farming, crafts, and cultural exchanges, while Tejakula on the northern coast offers opportunities for snorkeling, dolphin watching, and a slower-paced exploration of Bali’s natural beauty.
A key part of the program includes homestays with local families, offering students a unique opportunity to learn about sustainable living and the traditional way of life in Bali. Students will experience firsthand how local communities live in harmony with nature, focusing on sustainable farming, resource management, and eco-friendly practices. This cultural immersion will allow students to build meaningful connections with their hosts and gain a deep understanding of local customs, values, and sustainability efforts.
Additionally, students will visit Gaia Oasis in Tejakula, a community dedicated to environmental conservation and sustainability. They will engage with local community members to learn about their practices, which help preserve the natural surroundings and promote sustainable living within the region.
Our curriculum integrates hands-on experiences, such as workshops in traditional Balinese dance, cooking, and art, all led by local experts. Through wildlife-watching excursions, hikes, and swimming in the waters and jungles of Indonesia, students will gain a deeper appreciation for the region’s diverse ecosystems.
