Christine Armiger, Belize Coordinator and Trip Leader
Trip Leader and Coordinator, Christine Armiger has served as a Science Instructor and Sustainability Coordinator at Vermont Academy since 2008. She began working in Belize while serving as Program Manager for the Center for Tropical Ecology and Conservation. While working towards her MS in Environmental Studies at Antioch University New England, Christine spent two years researching Belize’s tropical agro-ecosystems and the impact of international aid programs on the lives of subsistence farmers living in the rural communities of the Toledo District. It was during this time that she established a relationship with our partner organization, Sustainable Harvest International. Since 2010, Christine has been leading educational trips to Belize. She is very excited to be leading a trip with Gogi Abroad!
